Very English

In Uncategorized on September 30, 2011 at 18:57

Sitting outside a lovely country retreat nr Harrogate and missed afternoon tea on the decking (in the September sun!) due to schools and rush hour traffic. Everyone is being very polite, and very English as they look you up and down.

We are miles away from the day to day grief and I wonder about the outside world as it is not represented here today, right now. It runs in tandem with all that goes on and is paid for by the daily grind, and the race that is rat. It is escapist ‘fun fun fun’ until time takes our surfboard away.

Cheers mi dears, bottoms up, good health, heres to you, raise a glass, and time gentlemen please…

  1. I wonder what we polite English are avoiding? Maybe the revolution we were meant to have but never did?
